This is the way we do....

So maybe this is the celebration we had when Jake's dad sent me his flight plan. I'm not going to lie, probably one of the most exciting moments of my life. Pathetic, much?

We also celebrate when the census comes because, as Lachel says, "It only happens once every ten years!"

And then we eat free pie because it's free:)

Out of Control

Of my life. I know that I'm totally in control, but it feels like I don't do anything that I want to. Every night I plan on doing better the next day, but I fall into the same patterns of the previous days.

I'm just not who I want to be right now.
My priorities are completely whack and I haven't practiced the slightest bit of self control. I made a list of goals and I'm going achieve them. I've GOT to. I want to change. I want to be better. Satan is going down!

On a lighter note, I get to see this
INCREDIBLE face in 12 WEEKS
I'm so giddy, I already have trouble sleeping at night.

4 down, 9 to go

So two of my best friends and I have this goal to go to all of the temples in Utah before June 25th of this year. It has been challenging to find times when all three of us can go since we all live in different cities, but we're going to do it.

So far, it has been a great experience. I feel so lucky to have two AMAZING friends that not only can achieve this goal with me, but want to. Man, they are great! There is no place on Earth like the temple and I seem to forget how great it feels to be there until I go again. So far we have four done.

Dub J

is thee greatest place on earth. Every time I leave Logan and get to visit this place, my spirits are immediately lifted. There's nothing like feeling like you belong somewhere. I don't know if the day will ever come that I don't consider this place home. I don't even have to be doing anything at all to be content. Last night my mom and I watched The Office together and then we just cuddled on the couch and talked about life and how great the future is going to be. I loved every second of it. And don't forget, when I come home, I get to hang with this boy

who reminds me that life is much more fulfilling when you get stoked about the simple things (i.e. jumping up and down in anticipation of eating a jolly rancher). Along with all of that I get to hang out with the coolest kids ever. Spring break, please never end...please?

My Day Off

So I'm in this biggest loser contest with my family. Instead of it being the person who loses the most weight that wins, it's the person who loses the most body fat in 12 weeks. We all had our body fat tested in a legit fashion, also known as the bod pod. Well anyway, I started this eating and exercise program called Body for Life. Pretty much you can't have any sugar 6 days of the week. You can still have fruit and other sugars that occur naturally in foods, but nothing more than that. Well one day a week you can eat WHAT EVER you want. And when I say what ever, I mean anything and everything! So today is my day off and I'm loving it! Thinking about my day off helps me to eat good on the rest of the days of the week. During the week when I am tempted by foods that won't help me get my dream bod, I just tell myself that I can wait to eat that food until my day off. The day off is pretty much the greatest invention for a diet in the history of great diet inventions.
